Untargeted metabolomics reveal rhizosphere metabolites mechanisms on continuous ramie cropping

چکیده

Ramie is an important fiber feed dual-purpose crop in China and plays role the national economy. However, ramie yield quality can be reduced after many years of continuous cultivation. Currently, relatively little research has been conducted on rhizosphere metabolites their pathways cropping. Therefore, a healthy group (CK) obstacle groups (XZQG, JZ, DJY, GXD) with 8 cultivation were selected for study. LC-MS GC-MS untargeted metabolomics used to explore analyze pathways. The results revealed that significant differences agronomic traits occurred cultivation, dwarfed plants decreased yields groups. Metabolomic analysis identified 49 19 metabolites, including lipids, organic acids, phenols, amino acids. In addition, four differential metabolic (phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, fatty acid metabolism, ascorbate aldarate metabolism) elucidated. It was also clarified sinapic acid, jasmonic glutamine, inositol might main affecting continuous-cropping groups, they significantly correlated physiological indicators. This provided insights into mechanisms Accordingly, it expected increase or decrease soil will alleviate obstacles cropping promote development industry future.

Untargeted metabolomics.

Along with genes and proteins, metabolites play important roles in sustaining life. Their functions include "primary" functions in metabolism and energy storage, as well as "secondary" functions in cell-to-cell signaling, metal acquisition, and virulence. There remains much to be learned about the in vivo roles of metabolites. Approaches that accelerate measurement of metabolite levels directly...

Functional Genomics of Novel Secondary Metabolites from Diverse Cyanobacteria Using Untargeted Metabolomics

Mass spectrometry-based metabolomics has become a powerful tool for the detection of metabolites in complex biological systems and for the identification of novel metabolites. We previously identified a number of unexpected metabolites in the cyanobacterium Synechococcus sp. PCC 7002, such as histidine betaine, its derivatives and several unusual oligosaccharides. To test for the presence of th...

Dissecting Bottromycin Biosynthesis Using Comparative Untargeted Metabolomics

Bottromycin A2 is a structurally unique ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptide (RiPP) that possesses potent antibacterial activity towards multidrug-resistant bacteria. The structural novelty of bottromycin stems from its unprecedented macrocyclic amidine and rare β-methylated amino acid residues. The N-terminus of a precursor peptide (BtmD) is converted into bottromy...
